TIMING BALL

The Timing ball is a unique device that records time from moment of release of ball to the moment of impact (on ground or object). It can be used to conduct a number of experiments involving acceleration due to gravity (g). Calculation of Momentum Calculate the velocity of the ball upon impact, using v = g*t where t is the time in seconds after it is dropped and g is acceleration due to gravity. Calculate the momentum p of the ball upon impact, using p = m*v, where m refers to the mass of the ball. Value of 'g' may be calculated using equation: S= ½ gt², where S is distance in meter and t time taken in seconds.
